Hawaii trip 10/31/04 - 11/11/04
To celebrate our first 10 years of marraige Ben and I decided to take a second honeymoon and renew our vows in Hawaii. What kind of ceremony would it be without the company of family and friends? So the 7 of us hopped on planes and met on the island of Oahu on Halloween of 2004 for a wonderful trip!
Sunday 10/31 - San Diego to Honolulu, Oahu
Flight from SD to Hawaiion Hawaiian Air was the easiest flight I have ever been on. Great staff, food was decent, no turbulance. Only downer was they lost one of my bags by sending it to the wrong terminal in Hawaii. This bag had my wedding dress in it of course. The baggage gal told me "hey this is Hawaii, get married in your bikini!". I was upset so this did not help matters. They ended up flying my bag to Kauai the next morning and everything went fine.
Hopped on a shuttle to the ship and stepped on board after some security stuff. No sweat. Ship was beautiful and we got on board around 1:30pm so we were some of the first. Took a quick peek at our cabin and went roaming around the ship. The rest of our party did not arrive till 4:30 or so. Once they got checked in we all went to a early dinner buffet togather and talked about our travels.
Ben was a bit tired after the flight.
